I am Raphael Robinson, a student at North East High School in Maryland, and the author of Chronicles of Bones Island, The Black Tiger, and the series Guardians of Sunny Meadows. I write animal-centered adventure books for kids with real stakes: loyalty tested, plans made under pressure, and courage that grows one choice at a time.
I’m on the autism spectrum, and that shapes how I see and tell stories. I notice patterns, rules, and small signals—like how a group moves together, or how one decision changes the whole map. I couldn’t raise pets (my brother has allergies), so I raised animal worlds instead. With encouragement from my parents, those worlds became stories, and those stories became books for young readers who love animals, strategy, and heart.
